Modern research continues to explore how stress, perception, and emotional patterns interact with the body.
What if the mind and body influence one another more deeply than we once believed?

Breathe - Release - Surrender
Hi, I’m Dr. Jess Thalhamer.
For years, I was highly trained, knowledgeable, and still watching people try everything… yet stay stuck. They understood why they felt the way they did. They had insight, awareness, and motivation and yet their bodies remained overwhelmed, tense, and unable to shift.
Talk therapy alone wasn’t enough.
Mindset work alone wasn’t enough.
Even many “healing” spaces were missing something.
What I came to understand is this:
Healing happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to change.
Research and trauma-informed frameworks have shown that stress and trauma are not only cognitive experiences. They are held in the body through patterns of tension, reactivity, and nervous system activation. Many people know what they’ve been through, yet their bodies continue to respond as if the threat is still present.
My work acknowledges this mind–body connection and focuses on supporting awareness, regulation, and safety so the nervous system can begin to shift naturally, at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
My approach is grounded, integrative, and supportive. I work with individuals navigating stress, life transitions, nervous system overwhelm, and long-standing patterns that impact how they relate to themselves and the world around them. Sessions are designed to support insight, self-trust, and intentional change without clinical intervention.
Now, I help people calm their nervous system, reconnect with their body, and heal in a way that actually lasts.
My work blends mind–body education, reflective coaching practices, and intuitive energy support. I hold a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master’s degree in Social Work, with advanced training in trauma-informed approaches, nervous system regulation, and mind–body awareness. This professional background informs the educational and supportive nature of my work, while all services offered on this site remain non-clinical.
I believe meaningful change begins with safety, self-awareness, and self-compassion.
You’re not broken. Your nervous system learned how to survive and it needs safety, not pressure, to heal.
My role is to provide structure, insight, and support as you navigate your own path forward, at your pace and in your own way.
